We all love stories about the local kid who "makes good". Mezzo-soprano Angela Brower was raised in Mesa, Arizona and studied at Arizona State Universty and Indiana University. She is now a member of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany and in 2009 was awarded the prestigious Munich Festival Prize. She returned to the Valley for a performance with pianist and ASU Regent's Professor Emeritus Eckart Sellheim at ASU's Katzin Concert Hall, 7:30pm Monday, April 29, 2013. K-Bach's Sterling Beeaff catches up with Angela about her blossoming career and her recital.
